Students enrolling in this programme focus on the future and the technologies that make it possible: electronics has brought to the most amazing revolution of the last centuries. Thinking of a machine, installation or tool without any electronic component is today extremely improbable, still it is even more difficult thinking of our life without a “prosthetic” digital instrument (such as a smartphone or IoT). Students enrol to specialise in Electronic Engineering and therefore train for a highly qualified career in the industrial, service or research fields in Italy and abroad.

Course content

The Master's Degree programme gives students the opportunity to develop their expertise. After the first year made of in-depth studies, students may choose teachings dealing with subjects that are of most interest to them, attending to classes relating to the most innovative research activities. Classes are held in English and give students the opportunity to learn the technical jargon required for an easy access to the job market and international research. The final examination is an important experimental or design activity also developed jointly with international companies and research centres. Therefore, students may potentially get in touch with a world with no boundaries! The preparation that our students get is renowned exactly for being a high-quality one: many engineers who have graduated in this Master's Programme now work for important European and US companies and centres.

Career options

At the end of the study programme, students become Electronic Engineers, trained to design complex electronic systems, advanced components and circuits. The typical professional fields are those of innovation and development, advanced design, and management and control of electronic systems. Graduates may find a job and undertake qualified activities in companies operating in the design and manufacturing of components, circuits and electronic systems, manufacturing industries, automation and automotive industries, public administration sectors, and service companies applying electronic technologies. Furthermore, Master Graduates may continue their studies with Second-level Advanced Master Programmes and/or PhDs, in particular in the ICT (Information and Communication Technology) area.
