Presentation

The second-cycle degree course in Corporate Management and Consulting is intended for those wishing to become entrepreneurs, or work in industrial, commercial, and service enterprises in general, or functional management (with particular emphasis on the administration and monitoring of information systems) and for those who aspire to a career in the financial and legal-taxation consulting in business. The program is designed to work closely with businesses, entrepreneurial, and professional associations in order to ensure a solid cultural preparation which reflects the needs of the job market, while offering a variety of opportunities for students to interact with companies and professional consulting firms.

Course content

This degree course is aimed at developing a solid background in the areas of financial statements, business administration and control, and business planning, along with courses designed to develop knowledge and skills in data analysis, industrial analysis, business finance, and company law. The degree course then offers students two optional areas. On the one hand, those interested in a management career can deepen their knowledge of business functions (marketing, production and logistics, etc.), develop an understanding of the interdependency between different companies and different company functions, and focus their studies on strategic choices (business strategies and corporate strategies). On the other hand, students interested in consulting can choose whether to focus on modules of legal principles or on a in-depth study of accounting, administrative, and management skills (high-level corporate transactions, consolidated financial statements, business assessment, auditing, etc.). Case studies, hands-on exercises and individual or group presentation will encourage the practical application of the acquired knowledge. Students will also collaborate closely with companies and professionals through business seminars, workshops, work placements, and works related to their dissertation.
