UNIMORE Language Center

The University Language Center (CLAMORE) offers language courses and foreign language proficiency certificates in Italian as well as other foreign languages such as:

• English
• French
• Spanish
• German
• Arabic
• Chinese

CLAMORE courses are aimed at university students, prospective students, staff and the wider academic and professional community Courses are designed to improve students language skills and help them in their academic work in Italy. Language classes are pitched at a variety of different levels of proficiency and are designed to suit the specific needs of the different academic programs (and exchange programs). All courses are taught by native-speaking teachers only.

Personalized language assistance is also offered through the three University Self-Access Centers, which provide comprehensive independent study facilities (satellite television, multimedia computers, computer and web-assisted learning facilities, electronic resources, e-journals, etc.) and where experienced language tutors are available for individualized support.

International language certificates

CLAMORE offers foreign language proficiency tests and certificates as well as preparation courses to University students (undergraduates and postgraduates), prospective students and researchers studying in Overseas Research Programs at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

Agreements have been signed sanctioning CLAMORE as an authorized language center for administering and granting international language certificates for Cambridge ESOL, Instituto Cervantes, Alliance Française, ÖSD.
