Brief content description
Provide the student with the fundamental knowledge of applied Geomatics in the field of surveying and monitoring structures and infrastructures, paying attention also to the historical heritage. Provide a complete overview of modern survey technologies, both terrestrial and satellite-based, and of the methodologies along with their integration strategies. The student is supposed to develop a critical capacity in the design of monitoring approaches and in the evaluation of the quality of results. The class is held in English in order to become familiar with the technical terminology associated with the discipline.
