Brief content description
The objective of this workshop is to give students an opportunity to reflect on translation practices from and into English and Italian. In particular, translation problems will be analyzed and different solutions explored in relation to the types of texts they are embedded in, the topics dealt with and the readership addressed by the text. Students will be guided to find orienting principles in making decisions for their translation choices.
