Brief content description
The course is aimed to introduce the main methods for resolving structural systems reliable in civil engineering, with particular reference to the analysis of statically indeterminate structures. The mechanical behavior of portal-type frames, trusses systems, plane and spatial pin-jointed structures is investigated in detail. The students providing correct solution of the assigned structural problems are able to access to the oral exam.
