Brief content description
Knowledge and understanding: The course aims at obtaining knowledge of the principle of working of synchrotrons, beamlines and synchrotron radiation based experiental techniques. Applying knowledge and understanding: After the course, the student should know the principles of operation of synchrotron, beamlines and synchrotron radiation based technique and to apply this knowledge during possible stages and experiments Making judgments: After the course, the student should be able to evaluate critically experimental results obtained with some synchotron radiation based techniques. Communicating skills: The student will be able to discuss properly the problems relevant to experiments using some synchrotron radiation techniques. Learning skills: The student will be able to learn new developments in some synchrotron radiation techniques. The use of english textbooks should stimulate the learning skills and to go in deep in subjects connected with the ones presented in the lectures.
