Brief content description
The course provides the basic tools of interpretation about the structure and the effects of international contracts, with particular emphasis on the legal sources of private international law, international common law and lex mercatoria, including the UNIDROIT Principles of International Commercial Contracts. Particular attention will be paid to the in depth- examination related to the 1st Rome Regulation on the law applicable to contractual obligations, as well as to specific contractual figures of major importance in the current scenario of international economic relationship. Evaluation method: oral exam about all topics. 2-3 questions.
