Brief content description
Knowledge - correct conceptual and terminological approach to geological risk forecasting, prevention and management, also in the frame of Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (2015-2030) and of the UN Sustainable Development Goals - concepts of hazard, vulnerability and risk - main types of geological risks and methods for their assessment - the role of climate changes - requisites of alert and alarm systems (based on analysis of causes or of precursors) - the role of the geoscientist in the Civil Protection system. Skills - recognition and analysis of geohazard and georisk conditions - understanding geohazard and georisk maps - outlining of risk scenarios.
